Este 17 de mayo se celebra el Día de Internet, una iniciativa de la Asociación de Usuarios de Internet de España, y que luego las Naciones Unidas en la II Cumbre Mundial de la Sociedad de la Información celebrada en Túnez (2006) decidieron declarar como el Día Mundial de las Telecomunicaciones y de la Sociedad de la Información.
CiudadRed en el Día de Internet:
La cibercultura ha definido unas características propias en la Web a partir de la producción colaborativa que amplía las posibilidades creativas a través de distintos contenidos multimediales susceptibles de ser derivados en otros productos. Esto ha redefinido las formas tradicionales de la producción intelectual desafiando los modelos económicos dominantes que monetizan a la cultura.
CiudadRed es una plataforma para pensar en conjunto, conectarse y actuar. Por eso en el Día de Internet queremos conversar sobre cultura libre y derechos de autor: ¿Qué se puede hacer en caso que aprueben la Ley de Derechos de Autor en Internet, más conocida en Colombia como la “ley lleras”? ¿Qué posibilidades quedarían en el país en cuanto al tema de distribución de contenidos en Internet?
